Early Years and Child Protection

The purpose of this seminar is to address some of the main issues affecting the early years agenda. It is a joint seminar between social work professionals, education professionals and the Scottish Government. The main topics that will be covered include the Early Years Change Fund; preventative work; parenting; pre-school education; and child protection.

People who should attend are those managing and/or delivering early years services; those involved in work on the early years change fund; politicians; professionals; and policy officers.

The format of the day is based on plenary sessions with a mix of presentations, workshop style sessions and opportunities for discussion.

A small cost of £70 per delegate is payable and includes refreshments and lunch.
